Sorry, but deposits were paid on all cattle before they were advertised for sale. They have now left our Braidwood property and are happily settled in their new homes in five different Australian states.
All our Gold Creek stud breeding cows, Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) cows, bulls and heifers we were considering for sale have been sold. Over the next two months, they will be heading off north, south, east and west to their new homes. So, Gold Creek Galloway Stud will not have any registered purebred cows or calves for sale in 2026 or 2027 (not unless something unforeseen happens - one of these sales falls through).
Coming Up For Sale
These are born-and-bred, young, proven Gold Creek cows and sweet, well-bred little heifers. They were all born on our Braidwood property. They have been handled and trained daily from the day they were born. Total strangers can walk up to all of them in the paddock, brush them, and confidently handle them. Children are safe with these Miniature White Galloway females.
We have provided links to playlists for all the females. You can use this link: Stud Working Bulls, so that you can check out the bulls in the breeding backgrounds of these females and the bulls responsible for the calves.
They are all purebred cattle registered with the Australian Galloway Association.
If you go to our FAQ page and look at question one, you can get a general idea of the price range for these cattle. We know you will be able to find cheaper cattle to purchase elsewhere. But we can guarantee that you are very unlikely to find friendlier, quieter, smaller or easier to handle cattle. We also think our cattle are particularly beautiful inside and out. Gold Creek Galloways are well-bred, well-cared-for and well-trained. Potential buyers should know that our cattle all come with backup and support that is second to none. Ask to talk to our extended 'Galloway family'. We have happy Gold Creek cattle clients all over Australia who regularly ring, message and text us with questions, looking for advice and giving us lovely updates (ask to 'talk' to some of them).

GOLD CREEK ROXY is going to Queensland, Australia.

Roxy was pregnant and serene in early 2025

Looking motherly and serene with her bull calf, Dust Storm in June 2025
Gold Creek Roxy's coat is a gorgeous rusty red. Her mother is Tumblegum Rosslyn, a white cow with dun points. Rosslyn has proven herself to be a productive, no-nonsense, gentle cow. Rosslyn carries the red gene and has had four fabulous calves so far (one for her new owners). Roxy's sire is Gleneagles Neddie (a red bull registered with the Australian Galloway Association). All of Neddie's calves are small and appear to carry the red gene, too.

Roxy is an absolute delight. Visitors to our paddocks are often drawn to Roxy. If the visitor just happens to go to another cow first, Roxy will simply wander over and patiently wait her turn. She is very patient and never pushy, even when no one is looking.
This little cow is so laid back she will even let people lie on her back - I had to discourage this when Roxy was heavily pregnant, but she was not fazed. Roxy takes after her mother Rosslyn in her strong mothering instincts with her calves and is very protective of them when they are young. Once the calves are strong enough, though, she encourages their independence. Roxy's gorgeous coat goes from strawberry blonde to deep red depending on the season. She has a nice, long, fluffy coat and doesn't shed heavily in summer like most of the other cows.
Roxy has successfully delivered and raised her first calf. He is a strong, white bull with dun points and is the progeny of Gold Creek Storm Chaser. Roxy has been back with Gold Creek Storm Chaser for two months. If Gold Creek Dust Storm is any indication, Roxy and Storm Chaser make beautiful babies. Dust Storm is a solid, well-formed, chunky little bull with strong 'bulling' instincts (he is already wanting to work).
We have included a link to Roxy's playlist so that you can see her as a calf and fully grown. The videos will give you the best indicators of what her future calves will look like and how they will behave. ROXY YOUTUBE PLAYLIST
Roxy is back in calf and will be ready for her new home when we wean her bull calf next month. Roxy would match up nicely with Mackenzie and Stephanie if someone were looking for three females to start them on their breeding journey. Or if a breeder is looking to add a great big dose of ~CALM~ into their current herd.
MACKENZIE & STEPHI are going to Queensland.
Heifer calves are both 6 months old.
Yes, clearly these two are 'joined at the hip', and they will be sold together. They were born days apart and have never been apart from one another since. Their mothers are best friends and half-sisters, and they are best friends and half-sisters too.
GOLD CREEK MACKENZIE is going to Queensland with her BFF Stephani.
Solid Red Purebred Heifer Calf
Gold Creek Mackenzie is the first calf of Gold Creek Millie. Millie is a white cow with black points. Millie is the daughter of our late herd leader, Oceanview Cuddles (one of the most intelligent, gentle, and hard-working cows we have ever had the pleasure of working with). Experience has taught us that any calf from the Cuddles breed line will become a fabulous cow. Cuddles also has the record of the highest percentage of heifer calf births to date. Cuddles had eight heifer calves for us and two bull calves. Mackenzie's sire is Puddleby Stanley, a small, solid dun bull.
Mackenzie is such a sweet little one with a lovely, almost dozy personality. Most days, she seems to happily wander around in a world of her own (if BFF Stephi is in her line of sight). Mackenzie is small for her age. Mackenzie is already happy for us to brush her in the paddock. She still prefers to have mum close by if we want to brush her face though. She is shy but not frightened.
Coming from a line of strong females who give birth to a high percentage of heifer calves, Mackenzie has quite the reputation to uphold. We have every confidence that she will.
Mackenzie will become available when weaned in late 2025 or early 2026. She will be sold with Stephi. Stephani and Mackenzie would also make a nice match with Roxy as their friend in a new home for someone who was looking for three females to start them on their breeding journey. Or if a breeder is looking to add a great big dose of ~CALM~ into their current herd, then this combination could do just that.
GOLD CREEK STEPHANIE is going to Queensland with her BFF Mackenzie.
White with dun points heifer calf.
Stephi always looks like she is on a mission.
Stephanie is the first calf of Gold Creek Saffron, a white cow with black points. Her sire is Puddleby Stanley, a small, solid dun bull. She also comes from the same breed line as Mackenzie, with Oceanview Cuddles as her great-grandmother. Any calf from the Cuddles breed line is a really, good calf.
Stephi is still a bit of a 'wild child' right now. She is determined to avoid me or flee in a hurry whenever she sees me. Last month, little Stephi tried to kick the cattle crush to death all on her own. Seemingly no provocation: she just went off like a frog in a sock! This kind of behaviour in a calf used to worry me once. Not anymore, though. I knew that Stephi would change when she was good and ready (and not before). And she did. One day last week, she worked out the actual situation here on the farm. Like others before her, Stephi came to realise that life is great when you can stand around calmly getting brushed and pampered like a princess rather than carrying on like a mad cow! Yes, Stephi let me brush her! And she liked it. So, just like that, training begins.
Stephi will become available in late 2025 or early 2026 when she is weaned (and 100% won over to human interaction!) She will be sold with Mackenzie (and maybe Roxy).
GOLD CREEK HADDIE is going to Western Australia with her heifer calf, Harriet
White with black points.

Gold Creek Haddie was born and bred on our Braidwood property in 2018. Her mother is Gold Creek Hope, a white with black points cow (registered with the Australian Galloway Association). Her father is Gleneagles Legend, a very handsome white with black points bull (registered with the Australian Galloway Association).
Haddie didn't want to be handled at all for nearly a year after she was born! She could not be convinced to stand still for a brush for love or money. On her first birthday, she decided that human contact is a good thing and has been lapping up the love and attention ever since. Haddie has successfully calved three times and recently raised a beautiful white heifer calf (Gold Creek Harriet I).
Haddie would make a fabulous herd starter and a herd leader if your herd needs one. Being a mature, no-nonsense, strong young cow, Haddie will quickly show herself to be an asset to her new owners. Yes, it will be exceedingly difficult for us to part with Haddie, having spent so much time with her in her very productive five years. Haddie was artificially inseminated by our local vet with Glenayre Cannon Boy straws in September 2025. We have not seen her cycle since. We tend not to PTIC (have a vet do a pregnancy test to prove they are in calf) if it is not 100% necessary.
We have included a link to Haddie's playlists so that you can see her as a calf, fully grown and raising her calves. The videos will give you the best indicators of what her future calves will look like and how they will behave. HADDIE YOUTUBE PLAYLIST I PLAYLIST II
Haddie is in calf and will be available for sale next month.
GOLD CREEK HARRIET is going to Western Australia with her mum
15-month-old, white with dun points heifer calf.
Gold Creek Harriet was born in August 2024. She is white with dun points and a registered purebred Miniature White Galloway. Her dam is Gold Creek Haddie, a registered purebred white cow with black points. Harriet's sire is Puddleby Stanley, a dun bull. Harriet was also a little standoffish when she was young, but warmed to the idea of being handled by people much quicker than her mother, Haddie. Harriet is a solid, gentle one-year-old. She is very attached to her mother, but would be happy to be paired up with other young cows or heifers.
We have included a link to Harriet's playlists so that you can see her as a calf, as she is growing and interacting with other cows and calves. The videos will give you the best indicators of what her future calves will look like and how they will behave. HARRIET YOUTUBE PLAYLIST I HARRIET YOUTUBE PLAYLIST II
Harriet will become available next month.
GOLD CREEK BESSIE is going to Western Australia with her sisters.
White with black points cow.
Gold Creek Bessie is a three-year-old registered Miniature White Galloway with black points. Her mother is Tumblegum Brae. Brae is a white cow with dun points. Bessie's father is Gleneagles Neddie, a solid red bull. Bessie is happy to fit in wherever you put her. She happily bonds with whichever cows are in the paddock. She is another easy-to-handle cow with a big future. Bessie will fit into whatever role her new owners offer her.
With her breeding background, Bessie will be able to produce a nice variety of colours in her future calves. She can have white with black point calves, solid red calves, white with red point calves, and white with dun point calves. The possible colours will also depend on the colour of the bulls she is joined with in the future.
We have included a link to Bessie's playlist so that you can see her as a calf and fully grown. The videos will give you the best indicator of what her calves will look like and how they will behave. You will also find playlists and video of footage of both her parents. BESSIE YOUTUBE PLAYLIST.
Bessie will become available in December 2025 with a calf at foot. Or mid-2026 when the calf is weaned.
GOLD CREEK STORM GIRL is going to Western Australia with her mum Jaffa and her best friend Lucy.
White with black points heifer.

Storm Girl's mother is Gold Creek Jubilee (Jaffa) a white cow with black points. Her sire is Gold Creek Storm Chaser, a very small white bull with black points. Storm Chaser is the smallest, sweetest, and easiest-to-handle bull we have ever bred. His sweet temperament, small size, and high fertility make him a standout bull. His smaller stature does not limit him in relation to the height of the cows he has proven he can cover. Chaser is so quiet he can be directed to walk from one paddock to the next without a halter (just hand signals and words).
Storm Girl is a little clone of her father (apart from the obvious!). Subsequently, Gold Creek Storm Girl is our only heifer calf ever given a name relating to her father rather than her mother, like other heifer calves. When she was born, we referred to her as Storm's girl, and the name stuck. Her dam is Gold Creek Jubilee (Jaffa). Jaffa is a beautiful white cow with black points. Full of calm and sweetness, Jaffa is one of our best animal-assisted therapy cows. Jaffa has soothed many a distressed soul, sometimes just by standing close to them and watching them with her restful eyes (and looking particularly beautiful).
We waited a long time to find an unrelated bull and cow with their combination of desirable traits that we could join. So, when we made that match, the birth was much anticipated.
Storm Girl has the sweetest, most relaxed personality you could hope for in a bovine. Nothing fazes her. Well, nothing we have been able to come up with in the two years since she was born. There is nothing 'showy' about her, but people are drawn to her all the same.
We have included a link to Storm Girl's playlist so that you can see her as a calf and fully grown. The videos will give you the best indicators of what her future calves will look like and how they will behave. STORM GIRL YOUTUBE PLAYLIST
Storm Girl will become available with a calf at foot in mid-2026. Or she will be available back in calf when her 2026 calf is weaned.
